It was January. Not exactly what you think of as the greatest beach weather. But we had friends coming into town – a good friend from my college days at BYU and her family. I couldn’t wait to see her and her hubby again and finally meet her awesome kids! We planned a day of fun activities that ended up at the most amazing day at Little Corona beach in Corona del Mar (Newport Beach). It was sort of a beach play day/photo shoot — because why not get some good shots in when you have a nice camera? But poor Parker fell fast asleep and didn’t want to wake up at first which made for an interesting start to the photos. I had a blast looking through all of the photos – partly because my own family was there, and partly because there were SO many goofy ones! I could do an entire blog post of outtakes from this session – So very many great photos had one person’s or another’s tongue sticking out! After a few minutes of family portraits and photos of the boys together we all took a break and just played. In spite of the time of year, my kids all brought suits and ended up completely in the water. And the evening ended with the most beautiful sunset (and a night out at one of our favorite places to eat – Beach Pit BBQ). I enjoyed making these memories with you Suzi! Enjoy your sneak peek!
