Evan owns the property where myself and some of my friends have been leasing horses in Nellie Gail for years now. Today we’re having a birthday party – and as a gift all the gals at the stable pitched in for some awesome portraits of his kids with the horses. I love photographing kids….and I really love doing anything with horses. So combining the two was just a little bit of heaven for me! I love working with Pax and Little Wing, and since I haven’t had much of a chance to see Pax since I got my own horse recently I was thrilled to work with him again. He’s such a ham for the camera. And as always, when working with kids OR animals there are bound to be a few outtakes – there were plenty in this short session, so check out the last block of photos with our “bloopers.”
