I just love this family…not only have I been photographing them for many years, but my family recently moved in around the corner from them so I get to see them all the time! Oldest daughter, Grace was home for winter break and it was a great time to get everyone together for some photos. Oldest son, RJ, is serving a mission for the LDS church in Des Moines, Iowa – so we’ll have to get together again when he return. So this was just a fun (and totally wacky) little shoot in the park up the street from where we all live. Let me just tell you – this family knows how to have a good time together, and the girls…well, let’s just say they have plenty of spunk and sass to go around. They kept me in stitches the entire time. There were a whole bunch of outtakes (some of which are included here, including the girls all bowing down to worship their mom, picking up and carrying the youngest, cell phone selfies and just generally goofing off – and then the tree shot, which was Sophie’s idea and turned out cuter than I thought it would). But somewhere in the craziness of it all, we got a few decent posed shots as well. Enjoy this little bit of fun and nuttiness at Brentwood Park in Costa Mesa!
