It was a beautiful golden morning – we got started early (very early – like 6:45 am) because that’s when sweet baby Penelope is happiest and the light is most beautiful! There aren’t a lot of things that will motivate me to get out of bed at 5:30 these days, but spending a beautiful morning with a gorgeous family is one of them. And I was especially excited for this session for two reasons: 1. they were bringing their family pet, which I absolutely love and 2. the baby was at my absolutely favorite age to photograph – it was her 7 month birthday! I love this age because they are a captive audience (they can usually sit really well, but can’t run away yet, ha!) and because they have so much personality. And Penelope’s personality was shining brightly! Such a happy go lucky kiddo, and so curious about the world around her. We had a grand time chasing waves, playing with the puppy, walking along the beach and posing for some photos here and there. I’m pretty happy with the results….mum and dad, enjoy your sneak peek!
