I haven’t entered anything over here for a while, but when I saw this photo challenge I couldn’t help myself – the theme is holidays! Not just the Christmas holidays but any holidays. And this month we could enter up to five images. So I decided to choose a handful of favorites from different holidays. Go check them out over at iheartfaces – they always have so many fun contests and great photography tips!

This first image is a favorite because it is a composite of our newly combined family’s first Christmas together. Everyone is doing what they love most or do best: Jared is reading, Kate has a plate of fresh baked cookies, Jacob is getting into mischief and Eric and Audrey are being goofy together. And I have a camera in hand of course!

This image, with its Native American theme could pass for either a Halloween entry or a Thanksgiving (this was actually our Halloween costumes last year and these are my kids and horse!)

This image has to be one of my favorite all time Valentine’s day images – I just love the interaction between these adorable twins.

OK, back to Christmas theme with this one. These girls in their Christmas dresses with the nutcrackers and the wreath make for an adorable holiday scene. Love their expressions too!

Ok, last one…my adorable nephew Liam having his offical Christmas portrait taken in front of our Christmas tree.
