Mom is the most loving and affectionate, and smartest cat I’ve ever met. Kittens have been handled daily since birth and are well used to kids of all ages, men, women, and dogs. Each kitten comes with printed and framed portrait from their babyhood. Adopters from her last litter have high praise as their kittens were so well adjusted and do well with little kids, other cats and dogs and have all been very trainable. Most of them play fetch and come when called and/or do other tricks!
I have 4 males and 1 females and 2 (one boy and the one girl) have the characteristic “Highland Lynx” curled ears. The others have Desert Lynx big ears. Here is some breed information:
Despite their “big cat” look, the Highlanders are the clowns of the cat fancy and love to play and chase. They love human company and will be there to greet you at the door or will show off to visitors. Vocally they can be relatively quiet cats but all our cattery’s cats ‘talk’ to us non-stop! Physically they are high energy cats. This energy comes out in entertaining chase games and it is this energetic activity that helps build the powerful musculature that is so characteristic of this breed. Many people say they are more dog-like in their personalities. There are few Internet articles suggesting a Highlander if you can’t choose between dog and cat. These cats can fetch, beg, roll over, and even love to be walked on a leash like a dog. They would love a car ride if they have an access to the window to see what is going on around! Some Highlanders love to play with water and even swim!
Would you like to learn a little more about each kitten? Here are some group shots and then a little bit about each one!

Mama cat, Penelope, is the sweetest cat I’ve ever know. A real people lover and super smart, she comes when called and does cute little tricks!
Meet Charlie – Available for $500
Charlie is a real mellow fellow. The most laid back of this litter, he would be great with little kids or someone who doesn’t want to much activity. A total lap cat, he’s content just to hang around and be loved. He’s super sweet and so very chill. He’s definitely a household favorite!
Meet Pippin and Coto – the twinners
Pippin $500 sold
Coto – $500 available now
Pippin and Coto are both the perfect mix of mellow and feisty, calm and crazy. Pippin is one of the tiniest but he sure can hold his own. And Coto is the first waiting at our door every morning, and the first kitten to run in looking for company. It’s pretty hard to tell them apart in the photos, or from a distance but I can tell them apart pretty well in person. Coto is slightly heavier and blockier than little Pippin. Both love to play and love to be loved.

I can easily tell them apart in person, but in photos…not so much! In this one, Pippin is on the left and Coto on the right.
Meet Romeo – $500 – SOLD
Romeo was named that because he is just a little love. The alpha of the litter, he’s the first one in line to nurse and first at the food dish and first to grab at our ankles as we walk by. He wants plenty of attention, but is fiercely independent at times as well. He’s afraid of nothing, and has been since birth. He’s ready to take on the world, and will stop at nothing. He gets along great with dogs, cats, kids, anything!
Meet Callie – $600
The first kitten to have a name, she caught my eye the moment she was born, with her pretty calico markings. True to her breed and coloring she’s got just enough sass to be fun, and the heart of her mama. The only little girl in a litter of boys, she takes after her mama in so many ways. She seeks out human companionship and loves nothing more than to curl up on a warm lap or next to me on the bed. Her loud little motor starts as soon as you begin petting her. She’s smart and she’s loving, and I got back and forth on an hourly basis on whether I’m willing to part with her. But the truth is we have a full house already and certainly don’t need any more cats! But if for some reason she doesn’t sell I won’t be terribly disappointed – she’s perfection to me!
