I think extended family portraits have to be one of my favorites! I love when generations of families come to be together and then want to capture that special time to be remembered forever! There is always so much love and happiness! I have a lot of people ask me if I charge extra for large families and the answer is “no – the more the merrier.” Of course that can make for some chaotic fun – especially when racing the sun to get everyone in, but it’s always a good time. This particular family was especially fun because they are the extended family of a very near and dear to me family – the Hunter’s – who are some of my favorite people. I was lucky enough to capture Dan’s side of the family last year at this session in the same place (the beautiful Three Arch Bay in Laguna Beach) and I was excited to meet Kimberly’s lovely family as well! I think my favorite shots are the ones of the grandparents with all of their grandchildren. I hope my kids have lots of kidlets of their own so I can have a photo just like this some day! I enjoyed every minute with this gorgeous family and am excited to finally reveal their sneak peek! Family pictures at their finest!
