Father and son fun! {Irvine children’s and family portraits}

These images will really tell you all you need to know about this loving father and son duo.  This was my third year photographing Denzin, and he is one kid that is ALL boy!  Every session with him involves lots of running, lots of sticks, a little bit of throwing things and LOTS of fun!  You can view some of our past adventures, two years ago at Irvine Regional Park and last year at the Back Bay in Newport Beach. It is so much fun to see him grow – from a toddler to a sweet and active little boy! But my favorite part of shooting these two is to see the very special relationship they have.  Doug so clearly loves his little boy (you can see that on his umpteenth throw high in the air and when they tussle on the ground) and his little boy clearly adores him right back.  Our time together is a lot more like a fun and adventurous play date than a stiff or posed portrait session, for sure!  This year we came back to Irvine Regional Park and had a blast playing in the leaves, climbing trees, chasing (and feeding) peacocks, feeding the ducks and visiting the train.
