Saul comes to Hollywood {Los Angeles Family Photographer}

The lucky mother to this charming little boy just happened to be my little sister’s best friend when we lived in Agoura.  There were many days that it seemed like she lived with us!  But I haven’t seen her in years and hadn’t ever met her awesome husband or sweet baby. So when I found out that she would be travelling to Los Angeles all the way from New York and wanted to have some family portraits done, I jumped at the chance to see her again – and meet the awesome boys in her life!  It was a totally crazy day – I had just scratched the corneas in my eyes and could barely see, and it was right during the terrible windstorms that swept Southern California – but we were determined to make it work. Plan A – meeting at her hotel to do the pics fell through because the decor there was just not what she wanted. Plan B – meeting at the beach wasn’t going to be ideal because the only time she and her hubby had available were right in the middle of the day – terrible light for the beach. Plan C  – taking the portraits at the Griffith Park Observatory – very nearly fell through when we arrived and were greeted by guards telling us the park was closed for the day due to the high winds and all of the downed trees and power lines.  But we were not to be deterred – we parked on the street outside of the park and snuck past the guards to a nice shady spot just inside of the park.  We had a great time catching up and snapping pics of the new little guy and his parents.  He was a trooper for being all the way across the country, out of his big city environment and in a cold and windy park in LA… I can’t wait to see him and his parents again. Enjoy your sneak peek guys – your gallery will be posted very soon!
