Amelia is the face of the Juvenile Arthritis Foundation. The foundation needed a “country western” themed photo for a promotion they are running. So we put together a last minute country western setting and brought in some of my very favorite “props” – my very photogenic show horse Nugget and Tom the barn cat (it wasn’t in our initial plans to include him in photos, but he insisted on stealing the limelight more than once). Amelia already loves horses and was right at home in this setting. Equestrian themed photo shoots are my favorite -mostly because I love horses so much. In just a few minutes we had more than enough images to work with for the promotion. My favorites were the ones where the barn cat insisted on barging in on the shoot, creating lots of laughs. It also happened to be Amelia’s 14th birthday – and this was a fun way to document the day in a beautiful way!
