Misty Morning in Huntington Beach {Huntington Beach Family Portrait Photographer}

I had set up this session for 7:00 am the Friday of Labor Day weekend, so as to take advantage of the (usually) beautiful early morning light and to allow the “P” family to have the rest of  the day free to play!  They were staying at the Hyatt Regency Resort and Spa, so to make it simple for them, we arranged to meet just across the street just south of the Huntington Beach Pier.  But when I arrived at 7:00, it was so foggy that I could only see a few feet ahead of me – and that just barely!  So we waited and waited, and finally when it was nearly 9:00, the fog lifted enough to be able to see more than just a few feet. Of course, by that time the light was not as beautiful as it usually is in the morning, but this family was so good to go with the flow and play along anyways!  We got some shots on the beach and then headed to the hotel for a few more.  Thanks so much for spending a misty labor day weekend morning with me and my camera.  And enjoy your sneak peak!
