The tradition continues – and it keeps getting bigger and better in every way! The Gibbs family has been coming to me every summer since 2008 or 2009 all the way from Ohio for their family portraits on Orange County’s beautiful shores. With the exception of last year – but that was for a great cause – Drew and Karen were tying the knot in Italy and the family vacationed over in Europe rather than here in Newport Beach. So I was super excited to see them again this year and see how the kids have grown since our previous session and with Karen as a new official member of the family! I do believe this was my favorite session with them I’ve ever had. The beach at Crescent Bay has some amazing photo spots and the light and weather were absolutely delightful this year. And have I mentioned that this is one of the most photogenic groups ever? Absolutely gorgeous, each and every one of them. Photographing extended families with grandparents, parents, aunts and uncles – and of course kids – is probably one of my favorites because nothing is better than family!
